Another Decal Required on Boats

All watercraft in Minnesota are required to carry a decal reminding boaters of the aquatic invasive species law.

DNR Conservation Officer Nikki Shoutz says there is no cost for the sticker, but it is required to be posted anywhere on the boat.  She says it is a reminder to clean boats and trailers of weeds and drain all water.

The decals can be obtained free of charge from DNR offices, conservation officers, deputy registrar offices and some retailers.
