Koering Withdraws Anti Musky Bill

State Senator Paul Koering says he will back off on his bill to ban the introduction of muskies in South Long Lake. He told KLKS News, there has been a lot of heated emotion from those who oppose the introduction of Minnesota top fresh water predator, and heat from those opposed Koering's bill to ban them from the waters.

Koering says he has spoken with musky fishermen and the DNR. The Fort Ripley Republican says he is comfortable with their process in listening to public concerns, and so has withdrawn his bill.
