A Top Dog Comes from Pequot Lakes

A dog bred by a Pequot Lakes couple has won the top obedience award for 2008. "Cash," a nova scotia duck tolling retriever was presented the award at a weekend banquet, at the Westminster Kennel club, for points accumulated during a year's worth of competition, according to Peggy Wills. She says her pooch was tops out of the 200-thousand that competed.
Wills says they did not breed any dogs last year, but will in the next year or two. She says they only have one litter at a time.
