Three Year Old Killed in Long Prairie Fire

(AP) The farmhouse fire, near Long Prairie, that killed a 3-year-old boy was an accident, according to the Todd County Sheriff's office. The fire early Sunday took the life of Lucas James Ewertson, who was sleeping in a second story bedroom. The boy's grandfather was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire should be known later this week. The house was a total loss.
