Crow Wing Board Increases Hand Gun Permit Fees

The cost of a gun permit in Crow Wing County is going up by 15 bucks. The county commissioners increased the cost of carrying a heater on a 3-2 vote, because the permit process currently is subsidised by taxpayers. The Sheriff wanted to increase the fee by $40 to cover their costs, and return another $10 to the treasury. The county has about 1,200 permit holders.
