Pequot Lakes High School Participating in One-Act Play Competition

"The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" is the title of the 30-minute One Act Play that Pequot Lakes is entering in this year's competition slated for this Saturday, January 31st at Park Rapids. By nature, the work is humorous, although Shakespeare's tragedies are included. Actor Mitchell Dahlman told K-Lakes that this is the first one-act he's participated in, but he's really looking forward to it. Director Darren Blank mentioned that, in perfect Shakespearean style, some of the female roles are played by males. Coming up on Friday evening, January 30th is a 7:30 presetation of the one act at Pequot Lakes High School Auditorium. Admission is free, and open to the public.
