Brainerd Ready to Welcome Snowmobilers

The Brainerd Lakes economy is expected to get a shot in the arm from the December snow, as snowmobilers flock to the area. Gretchen Emmis, Director of Tourism for the Chamber, says the trails are in fair to good condition and being groomed. She says every other call she receives is about snow conditions, which is good news for the restaurants and bars. She says hotel availabilities are good this winter, except for the Fishing Extravaganza in January.
