State Patrol Winter Driving Tips

Minnesota State Patrol Sergent Curt Mowers says road crews are doing the best they can dealing with challenging road conditions.  However, he says in too many cases, drivers are not doing their part.

When roads become challenging, it's important to slow down.  And, during these cold weather months, the car needs to be maintained.

On a positive note, Sergent Mowers says traffic fatalities may be at an all-time low for 2010.  The final tally is not in yet.  He says buckled seat belts and safer vehicles are primary reasons.
