DNR has a Youth Mentored Turkey Hunt Slated for April
Mike Kurre of the Minnesota DNR tells K-Lakes' News that there's the 4th Annual Youth Mentored Turkey Hunt coming up in mid-April for kids ages 12-17 years. The idea is to get youth and their parents paired up with a mentor-hunter from the Wild Turkey Federation to help familiarize them with turkey hunting, and have a great time outdoors. The application window runs from February 2nd through February 23rd. For more information, go to www.dnr.gov and click on the turkey.
