Unoccupied House Burns In Merrifield

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed an unoccupied house on County Road 127 near Merrifield.
A passing motorist reported the fire to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's office at about 1:00pm on Friday. The home was
totally engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Neighboring emergency crews responsed to the blaze.
