Senator Klobuchar Encourages Renewable Energy

Senator Amy Klobuchar is touring the Brainerd Lakes Area today and Thursday to promote her plan of stimulating the economy through renewable energy and infrastructure related projects.The Senator says the economy is in deep trouble and the best response is to create jobs on Main Street and provide the middle class with significant relief while also building a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.Her Main Street Jobs Tour will be in Pine River this afternoon at 2:40 at the Hunt Utilities Group Campus promoting residential solar water heaters.Thursday afternoon she will be in Baxter meeting with Silent Power who deals with backup power.
