Deer Hunting Changes

There are some changes hunters need to consider for the upcoming fire arms deer hunting season, according to Nikki Shouts, Crosslake DNR Conservation Officer. She tells KLKS News, Zone 242 between County Road 3 and Highway 371 remains an intensive harvest area, however, the area east of county road three is a lottery area. Shouts says the filing deadline has passed for antlerless permits.
