Crow Wing Needs Elections Judges

Crow Wing County Auditor Deborah Erickson is on the lookout for election judges for September's primary and November's elections. Erickson said the list of qualifications to be an election judge is a short one. You have to be able to read and write English, a US Citizen, at least 18 years old, an eligible voter and not runnning for office in the current election. Elections judges may greet voters and direct them to the correct booth to go, register voters, and hand out ballots. If you want to be an election judge contact the local chair of one of three major political parties. Erickson said those names forwarded by party are selected first for duty on election day. For more information, contact your county auditor. In Crow Wing County, its Deborah A. Erickson at 824-1045.
