Howes Says The Next Session Wil Be About Jobs

State House Republicans meeting in St. Paul over the weekend have chosed Kurt Zellers of Maple Grove as Speaker-Designate and Matt Dean of Stillwater as Majority leader.  The job of Speaker may have fallen to Marty Siefert, the previous minority leader.  However, he lost the party's endorsement to Tom Emmer.

State Representative Larry Howes of Walker says the Republicans will all be about job creation.

The Republicans gained a majority in the House after picking up 25 seats in the House last Tuesday.  Pending any recounts, the margin stands at 72 Republicans and 62 Democrats.
