Red Flag Warnings Today

Red Flag Warnings have been posted for the Brainerd Lakes Area again today. The current dry conditions combined with strong winds create dangerous fire conditions.

K-Lakes Meteorologist Tony Schumacher says there may be some relief on the way as soon as tonight. He says we could see between a quarter and three quarters of an inch of rain through the end of the work week.

Schumacher says there is a vigorous storm over Montana and Wyoming. However, it has to overcome extremely dry air here, before it will be able to produce any moisture.
