Two Area Restaurants Destroyed By Fire

Local law enforcement and fire officials have confirmed that two
Popular area restaurants have been destroyed by fire. The Carlsona Beach Supper Club, located on Highay 18, west of Malmo, on Mille Lacs Lake and TJ’s On the Cove on Serpent Lake in Deerwood have been Reportedly destroyed by fire.

From reports, it’s been learned that the Carlsona Beach fire began overnight
And burned ‘til about 5:30am. That fire was battled by firefighters from Aitkin, Garrison and Isle.

The fire that destroyed TJ’s On The Bay was reported at about 12:30pm
Monday afternoon and was still burning late in the afternoon. Firefighters
From Deerwood and Crosby-Ironton responded to that fire.

The cause of both fires is still under investigation.
