CLC Site of Legacy Hearing
Central Lakes College in Brainerd will be the site of one of many regional meetings around the state to get public input on the use of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy act funds.
Brainerd DNR Trails and Waterways Specialist Lowell Jagger tells KLKS News, they will be taking notes on how folks would like to see the money spent. He says there is a need for new facilities at state parks.
Jagger says maybe folks want to bike to work, and they need to know where those trails might be located. Or maybe they want more multi-use trails like the East Gull Lake Trail that allows for hiking, biking, roller blading and ATV use.
The public meeting will be held at the CLC cafeteria, June 2nd, 7- 9 p.m.
