Handicapped Sebeka Man Dies in the Cold

(AP) A Sebeka man has died, apparently from exposure to the elements. 39-year-old paraplegic Michael Lee Johnson was found out in the cold 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, after falling out of his wheel chair, according to the Wadena County Sheriff.

The man was taken to Tri County Hospital suffering extreme hypothermia. His body temperature was in the 70's. The overnight low Tuesday morning was 5 above.

An autopsy is planned.
