Goedker Announces for 12 A

Another Republican is throwing his hat into the ring for State House District 12 A.

Brainerd City Council President Kevin Goedker says he will seek the party's endorsement at the Crow Wing County Convention.

The Brainerd realtor says two others seeking the endorsement lack the experience needed.

He says it will take a "Positive perspective" to defeat incumbent John Ward, who he calls "A great man with great charisma."

Goedker favors smaller government, reduced spending and less taxes. He says the people of the area are ready to put government back in its place.
