Petters' Lawyer Says They'll Appeal

(AP) Minnesota businessman Tom Petters' attorney says they will appeal the verdict that found Petters guilty of 20 fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy counts. Attorney Jon Hopeman says they can't file an appeal until a Federal Judge has sentenced Petters. That sentencing could take place in two to four months. It's likely that Petters faces 30 years to life in prison.
