CLC Hires Diversity Director

Central Lakes College of Brainerd had named a Director of Diversity. She is Mary Sam of Onamia. She takes her post effective Dec. 14.

Sam comes to the college after seven years at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, where she was coordinator of local government and community relations through the Office of Government Affairs,

In the newly created administrative post, Sam will lead the CLC's effort toward intercultural competency. She will also be responsible for the development of an American Indian Center at CLC.
