January Could Be Mild
September and November were warm. October and December have been cold. The pattern would suggest January will be warm. K-Lakes Meteorologist Tony Schumacher says that may be the case. He says there is a so-called North Atlantic Oscillation that is over-riding the warming El Nino effect.
Schumach expects that oscillation to change in January bringing us another mild month.
