Longville Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident

A 33-year-old Longville woman was killed in a car-pedestrian accident on Highway 200 Thursday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that Jessine L Pike was walking in the west bound lane east of the Northern Lights Casino when she was struck just before sunrise.

The 1998 Taurus, also traveling west bound on Highway 200, was driven by a 57-year-old Longville woman. The State Patrol says the road surface was dry at the time.
