Brainerd Considers Shutting Off Some Lights--

(AP) Brainerd is considering turning off some City lights to save energy and money. A conceptual plan has been approved by the City Council that would shut off 27 streelights. Final action on the plan by the Council is scheduled for November 2nd. Areas that would continue to be lit include spaces around schools and churches--as well as main thoroughfares.
