Saturday, August 8, 2009Knife-Wielding Teen Shot by Bemidji Police(AP) According to a preliminary investigation, a Bemidji Police Officer struggled with 18-year-old Robert John Erle before shooting the teen twice in the chest--killing him. Witnesses said that Erle yelled "Shoot me" at the officers during the confrontation on Thursday.
