Bemidji Teen Shot to Death

(AP) What looked like a medical run in Bemidji, turned into a police action that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old male.

When Bemidji Ambulance Service arrived at the scene shortly after noon Thursday, they discovered a young man with blood on him and a knife in his hand. Two police officers arrived, a shooting ensued and the young man was killed.

Details of the incident, and the names of those involved have not been released.

The State Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will lead the investigation
