Keeping Your Plants Moist During a Dry Spell

K-Lakes Meteorologist and gardener Tony Schumacher has a tip for saving moisture for drying shrubs and trees. He says, try mixing your grass clippings with a little mulch and spreading that around the roots.
Schumacher says, while the rest of the yard might be drying out, it'll be nice and moist under the mix. And, the mix will release some much needed nutrients into the soil.
