Aitkin Riverboat Heritage Days

Aitkin is about to come alive with Riverboat Heritage Days. The summer festival runs July 16Th through the 19Th. There will be kids games, music, beer garden, food, special events, free community picnic, free pancake breakfast, arts and crafts and boat races. There will also be a kids tractor pull, art contest and garage sale. A new Captain and Queen will be named Wednesday. The outgoing royalty are Gary and Ihlene Williams. A new Miss Aitkin will also be chosen, replacing Kaisa Anderson. Shotgun Red and Steve Hall will be performing at the High School Friday evening at 7:30. Tickets are $10.
