Oberstar Says He Will Not Run Again

(AP)  Following a labor meeting in Duluth speculation began to bubble that Jim Oberstar might run for 8th District Congressional seat is lost last fall.

However, the DFL-er says he has no plans to for his old post any time soon.  Instead he says he will focus on teaching and consulting. 

Oberstar was first elected in 1975, and lost to political new-comer Chip Cravaack in November.
