Klobuchar Takes Jobs Tour to the Lakes Area

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar will not let the shooting of an Arizona Congresswoman keep her from visiting 14 Minnesota communities this week.  The “Innovation Tour” is highlighting potential of economic innovation for job creation.

“Innovation has always been key to Minnesota ’s economic success,” said Klobuchar. The senior Senator says the visits will be at businesses that create jobs, schools that educate the next generation of entrepreneurs and workers, and with local officials who want to promote economic development in their communities.
On Tuesday Klobuchar will visit Rippleside Elementary School in Aitkin, Long Prairie High School; meet with local officials in Brainerd and Park Rapids; and make additional stops in Backus and Little Falls.
