Hackensack Mayor Rateike Dies

The Mayor of Hackensack died Monday.  Mel Rateike passed away at St. Cloud Hospital following a heart attack November 28th. 

In addition to serving as the city's highest elected official, Rateike was the town's Police Chief. 

Family members say he never regained consciousness.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
