Area Challenged Votes

As the statewide recount continues in the contest race for governor, few vote challenges have been deemed as frivolous by local elections officials in the Brainerd Lakes Area.  All challenges deemed to be frivolous in the area were lodged by the campaign for Republican Tom Emmer.

Aitkin County posted the most with 10, Crow Wing had four.  The other counties did not find the challenges to be frivolous. 

Pictured is a ballot from Cass County which was found to be a legitimate challenge.

All ballots have been forwarded to the State Canvassing Board for final determination.
