St. Joe's Seminar on Online Behavior


The Saint Joseph’s Foundation will be hosting the 14th Annual Health Symposium; Breaking Free of Compulsive Online Sexual Behavior.
 
The symposium will be presented by Elizabeth Griffin, owner of Internet Behavior Consulting.
 
The event will be held from 8:30 am - 3:45 pm on August 19th at Timbermist in Brainerd. The workshop will discuss the online behavior of children and adolescents.
Ms Griffin will address problematic behaviors such as cyber bullying, online gaming, and sexual exploitation. Attention will be given to the assessment and prevention of problematic online behavior.
This workshop is targeted towards anyone who deals with youth, including parents, mental health professionals, teachers, school counselors, child advocates, individuals who work with youth in religious settings, nonprofit leaders who work with youth, and social workers.

Cost for the full day seminar is $40.
There will be a free condensed evening program on the same topic given for community members at Forestview Middle School in Baxter, on August 19 from 6:00 pm. – 8:00 p.m. Please call DelRae (218) 828-7641 or visit www.brainerdlakeshealth.org to register for either session or to obtain more information.
