M.S. Ride In Pequot Today
A thousand riders and their families are in Pequot Lakes today, one stop along the route for "The Ride Across Minnesota" bicycle ride for Multiple Sclerosis.
The riders began arriving at the Trailside Park in Pequot about 10 a.m. today, despite severe thunderstorms and driving rain. The riders were forced to take a break during the morning ride from Little Falls because of the storms.
Pequot Chamber spokesperson Sue Galligan tells KLKS news, a lot of fun events were planned for the riders in lake country.
Wednesday, the riders leave for Wadena, before the final trek back to Alexandria where the 300 mile ride began.
The goal this year is to raise $800 thousand dollars for M.S.
