Geocaching in Crosslake Saturday

The summer-long Paul and Babe Geo-hunt concludes this weekend in Crosslake.

Kathy Moore of the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway expects a couple hundred Geocachers in town Saturday for the hunt.   The modern day scavenge hunters use G.P.S. devices to locate hidden containers.  She tells KLKS News, their containers hold historic facts about the area.

Moore says after the hunt, there will be a community picnic at the community center.  And, there will be a rookie camp for those who want to learn more about Geocaching, at 10 a.m. Saturday morning also at the Crosslake Community Center.  There is a $30 fee.
