Tax Collections in Minnesota Lag (again) in October

(AP) Tax collections in Minnesota continued to lag in October--2.7 percent below projections. The State took in $29 million less than anticipated, due to the falling off of individual income taxes. The latest up-date only provides a half-picture of the State's budget. The full-view will become clear when Finance Officials release a budget forecast next month that factors in spending patterns.
