Winter Driving Skills

With several inches of snow having fallen in the Brainerd Lakes Area in October already, Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl says it's time for drivers to think about winter driving skills. He tells KLKS News, the road may be posted at 55 miles per hour, but 45 may be a better choice, if roads turn slippery.

Sheriff Dahl is also reminding motorists to turn on their head lights when visibility drops. He also suggests checking to make sure tires are ready for the season ahead.
