Walker Man Killed in Afghanistan

(AP) Walker is remembering a young man who was lost to the war in Afghanistan. 24-year-old Minnesota National Guard SPC. George Cauley was killed when his vehicle was attacked by insurgents.

Cauley was a 2003 graduate of Northland High School. Principal Joe Akre says Cauley always had a smile on his face and got along with everybody.

Football coach Shem Daugherty says when he returned to school in uniform, he was obviously proud.
