Bemidji Drowning Victim Identified

(AP) A 45-year-old Bemidji man drown last weekend when the canoe he was in with his father capsized on Little Sandy Lake. He has been identified as Wayne Toenyan. He was recovered in about five feet of water.

Toenyan's father, 76-year-old Lawrence, stayed with the canoe and was rescued by a neighbor. He was treated for hypothermia and released.
