Oberstar Moves Transportation Bill

In an address to the Subcommittee on Highway and Transit, Minnesota Congressman Jim Oberstar said he plans to move ahead on a funding bill to update the nation's roads and bridges.

President Obama's Transportation secretary wanted to wait 18 months before acting on the legislation. Oberstar says a delay could cost hundreds of thousands of construction jobs, and delay the projects up to four years.
