Wadena Man Charged with 15th DWI

(AP) A Wadena man who has 14 drunken driving convictions, has been charged with another one. 56-year-old Daniel Allen Bettcher is accused of driving a motorcycle while intoxicated in New York Mills Friday.

Bettcher was sentenced to 4 and a half years in 2004. He was paroled in 2006, but went back to prison in 2007 for parole violation.

Ottertail County Prosecutor Curt Mortenson, says Bettercher may have more than 14 convictions, claiming he used aliases in other states.
