"Shake Your Shamrocks" a Success in Crosslake

Saturday, the 14th was the Annual Crosslake St. Patty's Day Celebration and Parade in Crosslake. Volunteer Organizer, Candy Hart, said that record numbers had turned out for the event. They had been expecting 7,000 to 8,000 folks to view the parade--but to the best of their knowledge, there were at least 10,000 attendees--and, perhaps as many as 14,000. Long-time parade go-er, Pearl Riska, said her family has made the St. Patty's Day Parade and celebration a family tradition and looks forward to it every year.
