Area High Schools Dance to State Competition

The Aitkin High School Dance team finished second in High Kick competition at the State Dance Team Tournament over the weekend. The Gobblers finished behind champion Cannon Falls in Class A. The Revolution team from Pequot Lakes qualified for state in Class A, and traveled to the Target Center, but did not make the final round of competition.
The Brainerd Dance Team finished fifth in Class Three A.
The dance teams from Crosby Ironton, Aitkin and Brainerd qualified for state in the Jazz Division, but did not make the finals.
