Koering Looks for Some Money for Pierz

State Senator Paul Koering, Fort Ripley is looking for $300,000 dollars to reconstruct the portion of Highway 25, which runs through the city of Pierz.
Highway 25 is Main Street that runs right through town. It's also a state Truck Highway and a major north-south route between Brainerd and St. Cloud. Koering says the money was in a bill last year, but the bill never made it out of Committee. He says since Highway 25 is part of the state highway system we should be able to count on the state to help with the reconstruction costs when the highway runs through the center of a town like in Pierz.
