Volunteers Needed for LARJP

The Lakes Area Restorative Justice Project is currently looking for volunteers. Spokesperson Stephanie Haider exlained to KLKS' News that LARJP is a local non-profit working with youth who are referred by law enforeement and schools. They provide a forum for juvenile wrongdoers and their families, those victimized, and community supporters to meet in a safe, respectful environment to discuss the harm--and hold the youth accountable. Free Volunteer Facilitator training is coming up October 24th-26th at CLC in Brainerd, Expenses will be reimbursed. For more information, or to sign up, call 218-562-4926.
