Brainerd Lakes Citizen of the Year

The search is on for the Brainerd Lakes Citizen of the Year. Brainerd Community Action is accepting nominations through September first. Judges will be looking at volunteer work and length of service, offices held in organization, impact of contributions and letters of support from those who have benefited. Last year's winner was Karen Owens of Brainerd.
Community Action is also looking for the 2008 Youth Volunteer of the Year. The 2007 winner was Koreann Martin.
