Gasoline Prices Have Candidates at Odds

Minnesota Federal Senate Incumbent, Norm Coleman, and DFL Candidate Al Franken are at odds about how to combat the problem of increasing fuel prices. Coleman says fuel cost increases can only be slowed by mixing efforts, including more drilling off the coast, and supporting alternative fuel sources. Franken is looking for more investment in technology for renewable fuels, and is wanting congress to end tax breaks for oil companies.
