Crow Wing Canoe Day June 1st

The Crow Wing County Parks and Trails Department will host the annual County Canoe Day again this year. County Commissioner Paul Thiede said the day to set aside is Sunday, June 1st. Thiede said the park will have an open house that day and no admission will be charged. Other festivities include demonstrations by re-enactors, buckskinners, skrimshaw, black powder demonstrations. Thiede said its a great day for families and first time or veteran canoists. Time and place again is Boom Park in Brainerd at 11am Sunday morning, June 1st.
