Area Legislators Pleased With Session Results

Area lawmakers are also happy with the final results of the 2008 Minnesota Legislative Session. Royalton Lawmaker Al Doty said people were helped in spite of the deficit. Brainerd Lawmaker John Ward said he was also pleased. Both men are running for re-election in November and both have been endorsed by their party. No one has announced intentions to run against the two Democrats. The Senate District 12 Republican endorsing convention will be held on June 10th at Central Lakes College.
