Hecker in Solitary

(AP)  Formed auto mogul Denny Hecker has been relegated to solitary confinement at the federal prison in Duluth.

Hecker's attorney, Brian Toder, does not know why.  Correction Manager Richard Safra said segregation can result from a variety of reason, some of which have nothing to do with the prisoner's behavior.

The 59-year-old Hecker pleaded guilty in 2010 to bankruptcy fraud and defrauding auto lenders.

Hecker owned two auto dealerships in Baxter.
